I forgot my kid in time out

My son would not stop running in the house after the third time of telling him to stop I put him in the time out chair and went about cleaning. Two hours later I saw him in the chair and asked him what he was doing. He said sitting like you told me. 0.0 I had totally forgot he was in time out.

I don't know what surprises me more, that he didn't say anything about sitting there all that time, or that you never thought to check on him in 2 hours.

Oops poor kid. I've forgotten my kids in time out before but there is no way they would have stayed there that long without asking if their time out was over yet.

two HOURS?

either your child is a fucking SAINT and you're a heinous bitch for actually sitting there that long or I call bullshit.

I've forgotten that I put mine in time out, but for like, THREE minutes! Not TWO HOURS! How do you even go that long without checking on your kid? lol

Ah, well, live and learn. He wasn't hurt, and he's not traumatized. Maybe set a timer in the future so you don't forget? lol
