The doctor yelled at me

My daughter has dropped from the 24th percentile in weight to the 21st.  My doctor said if she drops anymore it will be cause for concern.

Anyone ever dealt with that?  My kid eats like a grown man.  She is 10 and weighs 63 lbs.

Is this growth chart based on the average child now?  or what should be the norm?  I mean yes she is smaller than most kids but she also is extremely active and eats very healthy.

Get a new doctor. Being 24% in weight is not a bad thing. It means she's bigger than 24% of the other girls her age. And she's plenty old enough to tell you when she's hungry or find something to eat herself.

Oh my gosh. Things like this annoy the crap out of me! Is she happy and does she seem generally healthy? Did she just get taller? Does she show any digestive issues? My kids have always been in the 80-90% for height and 20-30% for weight. Some times kids are just built that way!!

Are the women in your family or your hub's family petite?
