My DD is only 5 months but I think it's important she experience family dinners at the table with no distractions (like TV, video games, etc.).  What about you ladies...where does your family eat?

Technically we eat in the "morning room."

We eat in the dining room as a family 6/7 nights. On Fridays we will watch TV and eat in the living room.

At the dinner table. I don't think we've ever eaten while on the couch. Too afraid of the kids spilling something.

I got tired of fighting the fight every freaking night.  we now eat in the living room.

but I am determined to get a new kitchen set with more comfortable seating than we currently have, and move our asses back to the kitchen, where food belongs.

Kitchen table or living room.
I never thought "family dinner" is a big deal.

At the dinner table. All meals get eaten at the table.

We have a weird setup.  Our dining room is upstairs, it's actually a spare bedroom, but our downstairs is just one big room (kitchen and living room together, no partition or anything).  We could move it downstairs but we'd have to move the treadmill upstairs and I have an irrational fear about it coming crashing down through the ceiling, so it's on the ground level lol.

Living room, as a family, watching TV. Judge me, I don't care.
