Daycares and storms

Yesterday my area got hit pretty bad with a storm. It was pouring rain, debris was flying around everywhere, thunder, lightening, strong winds, etc.
My mom and I were driving down the road and as this is happening a daycare had their kids who looked to be 2-3 years old outside cleaning up!
How would you feel about this? Is there someone I can report that to?

Toys. But like I said, it was pouring rain, thundering and lightening, etc.
I got soaked just running from my moms van to my house.

Oh I thought it was after the storm. Why on earth would the teachers have them out there in the storm?? Terrible.

Call the daycare and ask who to call about it.

You can call the local licensing authority.

Call your local social services office and ask for the child care licensing office number. Or you can look it up online. Try under your states licensing agency.

I teach in a preschool and we would NEVER have ourselves outside during a storm let alone the kids. That's just plain stupid and dangerous.

I'd called the cops immediately.
