I have Mirena, and when the first week I got it, he got poked a few times... I felt bad, now its fine...

My xdh could feel it for awhile after I got it. The strings have to soften up over time. If you've had it awhile already and he can still feel it, I'd make an appt to check and make sure it's in place and hasn't slipped down. He shouldn't always feel it.

Yeah at first. He hated it and wanted me to get it taken out. I don't think it bothers him now though, or at least he hasn't said anything about it in a while

Yeah. He could feel the strings. He said it was weird at first but he didn't mind.

yes my mirena he felt it and cried tears it poked him :/ it came down. he said it felt like a needle

No.  Six years with an IUD and DH has never felt it...no matter what we do.
