My friends boyfriend freaks me out

I don't know what it is about him. But he makes me very uncomfortable. There is something about him that just doesn't sit right with me. I don't know what it is. But since she has started seeing him I won't let my daughter stay the night with her kid while he is there. Her kid can stay here no problem. Maybe I am being paranoid because my dd was molested six years ago. I don't know. But I haven't had a reaction like this to other guys, friends husbands, or guys other friends have dated. My friend asked why I haven't let dd stay over lately.... What do I say? That I am paranoid and her man freaks me out?

And in the meantime what do I say to the friend?

Say that you are her mother and you decide where she does or doesn't stay. Seriously though, you don't need to give her explanations.

Wow. Thats a tough one. You are protecting your child, understandable. Yet, you have no idea why you dislike her guy so much.
Not always, but usually the feeling you have is a sixth sense.
How does your dd feel around him ?
Have her friend over to your house.
How long have they been a couple ?
Check him out. Family watchdog.com
Your police department etc.
But you are going to have to have the talk with your bff.
Good luck and please be very careful of your words because this is going to put her in a tough place.
I would find out what i could about him first though.
Hang with them too and see for yourself what he is like.

Just be honest. If she's as good a friend as I hope, she will understand. Just be gentle in explaining your feelings to her

If he creeps you out, there is probably a reason.  Maybe you should take some time to reflect and see if you can figure out what it is.

I would just tell her you aren't comfortable with it.
