Sarah Murnaghan got her lung and I think it's stupid.

This family has been pleading for national attention to get laws changed and make sure their daughter gets the pity of everyone so she could get her lung transplant. Well now she's getting it.

But she has CYSTIC FIBROSIS! She's lucky to have lived this long, CF is almost ALWAYS fatal. So she got a lung that could've went to some one else to save theirs life, but she'll likely still die. Am I the only one who thinks this is unfair? Since when were exceptions made for people who made it on to CNN with their pity party?

average life expediency of someone with CF is 35 years old.

You sound like a moron.

I would imagine if that was your child, you would think differently.

It will be the thing to do now whenever someone is refused transplant for any reason. Meanwhile those who would benefit most will go without.

Yes, she could live for many more years.  Grow up.  Get married.  Have children.  So she deserves it less than some 70 year old who has smoked their entire life?

if there weren't transplants, the other people who needed them would be dead anyways. She didn't choose to have this disease, not like she smoked forever and needs a transplant because of it.

CF life expectancy has grown, and is expected to continue to do so.

Many of those with it are living into their late thirties or even early forties.

I think it's a great day for her and her family

I think she deserves to have it. So you would rather have a child die. Hopefully you're never faced with that decision. You might let someone die.because they may not live long

So because she may not live as long, her life is somehow less valuable?

Yikes. I dont think you would think the same if this was your child.

She got FOUR lungs. And my logical side agrees with you.
