Mom Confessions Mom Confessions
I'm trying to lose weight. And failing miserably. So I'm thinking about being pro ana. I need to lose 20 plus pounds within the next few weeks. I don't want to hear "it's not good for you, blah blah blah". I'm morbidly obese and I really want to shed 20 pounds for an upcoming party. Do you ladies have any tips?

I'm a personal trainer and yoga instructor. I've helped quite a few ladies here.

You can do everything in the comfort of your own home!

I am pro ana.  I just need tips to help further reduce my calorie intake.

Sure, hair falling out is sexy, so are the medical conditions that come along with it. And the stomach pains and lightheaded ness when you don't eat. Random passing out. Once you get started you don't quit.

Go ahead. It will be the most miserable you'll be in your life. Trust me. Oh and btw, you say you need to lose 20 pounds...it becomes just as addicting as nicotine, alcohol, or any other drug and you can't just "Stop" at 20 pounds.

Please don't.  You'll only hurt yourself in the long run.  I've lost 110 lbs in the past 19 months with 10 more to go...

Change your diet!  Cut out the carbs and the sugars!  Eat lean protein and veggies!  That did the majority of it for me, then I incorporated exercise.  Count calories - for dieting purposes, you should be at about 1200-1500 or so a day.
