It isn't about hard work, it's about not being able to be a mother. And if you think that not even having a BS is "this far," I'm afraid you need some perspective.

Quoting Anonymous:

I have, per requirements in some classes. I've come this far and I'm not giving up because of some hard work.

Quoting unspecified42:

Dreams are great to have, but it is silly to waste money on school when it isn't a realistic dream. Seriously, have you talked to any MDs or med students about what it's like? Have you looked at admission requirements for medical schools? Are you prepared to literally not see your children for weeks on end during rotations, for 12-14 hour days six days a week for four years during residency (if you are in an 'easy' residency)? If you are stripping to support your family now, who will support them during school when you can't work?

Quoting Anonymous:

Have you ever had a dream?

Their 2 and 4.

Quoting unspecified42:

How old are your children? Do you have a realistic understanding of the time commitment that med school and residency require?

No, it isn't really similar at all. The fact that you think it is shows how much you don't understand the reality. Good luck, though, and please have a back up plan!!

Quoting Anonymous:

It's the same as any other job. It's hard to support yourself and family no matter what you're going to school for. Dreams don't come easy, but I thanks for your concern.

What year are you in college? What is your major (obviously you said you are pre-med, but that's not a major)? Have you taken your MCAT? Why do you want to be a doctor? What do you think you want to specialize in?

I was pre-med. I graduated with a double degree in neuroscience and psychology. Thankfully, I did a lot of soul searching and decided to go in a different direction (speech pathology-to be board certified specialist in swallowing). I'm not gonna lie. I thought I wasn't going to make it through college when I realized I had to take 7 semesters of chemistry! ugg

What is your favorite and least favorite pre-med couse so far?

Definitely not. But they pay for my gym membership that I don't have time to use. Lol. I do go to yoga on the weekends or really early in the morning. I don't do drugs and they don't allow us to take drinks on the clock.

Quoting Anonymous:

Do you need a perfect body to be a stripper?  Do the guys offer to pay for extras?  Do u drink or take drugs to get up it courage to go out n strip?
