So you would rather wait to be told by a stranger what is best for your child than do your own research and find out what is truly the safest option for them?

Mother of the year award right there. Lol

Quoting MrsKaufold1990:

Until I am told by a law enforcement person, I will forward face at the age of 1 and over 20 pounds.

But thanks.

Yup.

My daughter HATED HATED being RR, so until she was one I had to sit in the back seat, and I was sick all of the time, I get car sick and don't like small seats.

So until it's a set law, won't happen.

Sorry this will post twice, I hit enter too fast but yea...this says is just a recommendation, not a law

lol.

I do what is best for MY CHILDREN.

My daughter hated being rr.

So until it is a set law in place, and not just a SUGGESTION, my children will be forward facing when they are one and over 20 pounds.

when DD was 2 she was already the size of a 3 year old and on her first birthday we had to get her a converter car seat. She is turning 3 next month and already has size 5 clothing. I don't think we could have done it at all. She was so swished and in pain.

Some doctors will. Some will be as uninformed about cat seat guidelines as they are now

I highly doubt my doctor will tell me anything about this. For that matter, neither will my child's doctor.
