My daughter says this to me multiple times daily lately. She's 5 1/2. Ugh.

Push her in the mud and tell her to kiss your ass.

Not really(obviously).

Hmm and what do you say to this? Ds is almost 4 and he will say "ew your gross i dont like you" but then immediately after be like "i just kidding i love you". Not sure how i will handle the time he is serious.

I pushed my kid in the mud once and told her to kiss my ass too...I think it's just natural parenting.

#anyways

Mine tell me they hate their lives, they hate me, " you're stupid mom " any time I tell them to do something that they aren't in the mood to do.

i say 'well you don't have to like me. i'm not here to be liked, i'm here to be a good mom.', and then they argue that i'm supposed to be a likable mom, and so on.

My 7yr old has started saying, "I hate you" to his brothers.  Yeah, fun times.  I've gotten on to him plenty of times for saying it.

I just say to him that he might not like what his brothers do or say and its ok to be mad, but saying that he hates them is not ok.

Aw. :( My DD has never said that to me, but I'm sure I'll hear it during the teenage years!

I say well I love you, or, ok fine, depending.

My dd (almost 6) says some pretty jacked up shit to me. I swear I feel like crying sometimes thinking I'm the only mom whose kid hates her so I'm glad your dd doesn't like you. Now I'm not alone lol!!
