and I do not want to cause drama, that is not my intention..but I think having 7 year olds in a booster seat is dumb. I was not in one at 7 and I turned out just fine. Had I have to do the requirements now back then I would have had to be in a booster seat until i was 11. such BS.

I think parents too inept to understand basic physics are dumb. Shrug.

We didn't wear seat belts at all when I was a kid and I am fine. So, I think it is dumb to put children in restraint systems at all.

See how that logic works?

Yeah, keeping my kids safe is totally stupid.

luckily my kids were always very tall/big for their age.  Both were tall enough to fit in a regular seat belt by the time they were 7-8yrs old.

Give me a break. If you weren't in a serious car accident- then your anecdote about being just fine as a child doesn't float.

My 8 year old dd is still in a 5 point harness AND rear facing.  Not...

She is still in a booster seat though because it allows the seatbelt to fit her properly.

I agree, but it's not really my problem if mom's want to do that to their kids.

My ds will be 9 in September, and is still in a booster seat. He was a preemie, and has a metabolic condition that makes him small for his age. His weight bounces back and forth between 48 - 54 lbs. I don't care if he looks "dumb" to you or anyone else... He looks safe and alive to me.
