On Thursday, I'm leaving to stay with BF for a few days to clear my head and get a game plan together for me to get out of my parent's house for good (BF's landlord won't allow me to actally live there).

I let my sister know so she would have plenty of time to find someone else to watch my niece while I'm gone. She flipped out saying "How am I supposed to find someone else to watch my kid?!" I told her she was just going to have to figure that out herself. She groaned and said "But that's so HARD!". I said "Well, sweetie, being a mom IS hard. So I suggest you get used to it."

Gods save me....

Is there any way for bf and you to sign a new lease or add you to the existing one?

Howcome his landlord won't let you live there?

There's three other guys in the house. It is a bona fide bachelor pad. There just simply isn't any room for me to live there.

There's three other guys in that house. No room for me. We're going to be moving to Vancouver, WA together in a few months though.

So why not sign a lease on a new apartment, month to month?

We're saving up for the move to Vancouver in a few months. We're moving there from Kansas, and will be driving all the way. So we need money to rent a trailer, pay for gas, buy all the things we'll need to get once we're there, and pay the mortgage a few months ahead.

From Kansas to western Washington? Be prepared for a bit of a culture shock.

BF is from Portland, but I've never even been to that side of the country before. I'm nervous, but it will be a much needed change of scenery.
