You have cancer, I was unable to remove it all. You have a year to live.

You have cancer, surgery was very successful. I removed it all in that spot, and radiation will take care of the rest. You're responding well and should go home tomorrow.

You're not going home for who knows how long, but at least a few days. We're going to put you on a ventilator and keep you heavily sedated. You are swelling way to much and we can't guarantee your windpipe isn't going to (I forget the medical term for) smooshed closed.

Wtf. It's like a damn rollercoaster.

So I'm panicking about this, and get a call from DH that the dog got out and got into a scuffle with another dog. Our medical bills, their $700 bill, quarantine threats (but they didn't do it), and $3,000 dollars in tickets. Roof is about to freakin fall off - $7,000. And my goddamn engine light just went on.

All this - before 11am on Friday. The weekend didn't get any better either. Fml fml fml.

:( geez oh man! Hope your day gets better....do you work in a doc office? dealing with cancer patients is pretty heartwrenching.

I'm sorry.

is this 3 different people with the cancer or a dr that wasn't sure what was going on?

No - this is the news my dad keeps getting...

I work in an office. A quiet, healthy-people office...

It's hard to go from good news to bad news, and back and forth :(
