Non stress test and contractions?

Hi I'm 35 weeks today and had a nst well the nst ( I felt them too but they weren't that strong) showed that I was having contractions every 2 minutes or so. But if I was having them that close together why would they send me on my merry way to drive the 15 to 20 minutes home? Shouldn't they have kept me too monitor them?

Call them and ask. They can tell you why they sent you home with the contractions

When I had a NST it was to check fetal movement. With my last pregnancy I was high risk. I had non-productive contractions every 3-4 minutes (from week 24 until I delivered at 37weeks). I was told to go to the hospital when they got to the point of hurting.

They must have been light contractions not lasting very long.

Did they ckeck you to see if you were dilated and how much?

Looks like you might have the baby early!

I have back contractions off and on that get close together, they sent me home too because I wasn't dilating or effacing. I'm 36 weeks.
