He SCARED the S*** outta me!!!

My daughter's right leg is longer than her left, causing gait and posture problems. She walks with a limp. Her head is also large, 98th percentile, but it's stayed on the same curve since birth. She used to have a hole in her heart, and now her weight is lower than it should be (has dropped down 20% although shes healthy).

The doctor ordered a test for her legs, an xray or CT scan, but also had us do a CBC (blood work) and says the combination of problems could have "other implications" but wouldnt tell me what. Shes 3, and people on CM have frequently asked whats wrong with her after seeing pictures. What is he looking for???

He should have told you what he was looking for. Call the doctor's office in the morning and demand to know what he suspects.

Ok. You didn't say that in your OP.
I would call the doctor tomorrow and tell him you want to know what he is thinking. Nothing any of us say will help ease your mind. I think it will only make things worse for you.
I hope you do get some answers though.

2 moms liked this
It should say on the orders what the tests are for. However, he should never refuse to tell you ANYTHING regarding your child's health issues. I would seriously consider switching to a new doctor.
