Why bother? Most will reply that they don't know how to cook, takes too long to cook from scratch, they can't watch their children and cook at the same time, etc. Oh and that they're children only like hot dogs, chicken fingers, pizza rolls, or other frozen processed stuff.

I'm not perfect, but we're creative in the kitchen...

Bean soup-bag of dried beans $3, onion $1, mushroom broth $3...

Makes 2 meals for a family of 4...

Soak beans overnight, then let simmer in the crockpot all day...

I can create quite a few meals using ground turkey and rice. I use it in stuffed bell peppers, stuffed French bread, you could put it in tortillas, make it into a casserole. Throw veggies into all of these to make them even better!

Kale chips...wash and rip kale into chip size pieces...brush with olive oil, season with salt and sesame seeds...

Tonight we are having meatball stew with cooked carrots.... not really healthy but super fast and fairly cheap
