no, we both provide for our home (i work too)...my husband doesn't feel less manly because of it

Not my husband. When I am finally done with school I will make more than him and he is THRILLED at the idea! =D

I believe that's how men think they need to be in order to be manly... They also need to hunt, grunt, spit, fish and like fast cars... Lol not everyone fits in that box of what a "man's man" is... Men put a lot of pressure on themselves so they can fit that mold... Just as women do

I think it depends largely on the culture the man comes from, but in general I'd say yes.

He likes to know that we have him to provide for us and that he keeps us in a safe stable environment but he's certainly not too proud to get help or let me take care of my own needs as well. I like feeling equal or at least as if I've helped be it emotionally, or financially.
