Do you take your kids to the city pool?

DS loves to swim, but we have no where to swim other than the city pool. I've never been to the city pool and am kind of weary about taking DS. We don't live in a big city and the pool has only been running for about 2 years. I've just got the stigma stuck in my head about city pools.

No but only because my apartment complex has a nice pool. Last year we went, nothing wrong with a city pool...

We have river access, but snakes have been pretty bad this year. Sometimes we would like to swim in water that we can actually see the bottom. lol

Yes I have never had issues with them, they have plenty of lifeguards on duty.

I've always heard they are usually nasty, gross, etc. I don't really believe that, but that thought sits in the back of my head when I think about going to the city pool.

We go once in a blue moon.   I'm all for protecting my kids from stuff, but I don't want to wrap them in a bubble.
