NO ONE EVER TOLD ME

Why didn't anyone ever tell me that I would be so cold after giving birth? I was shaking and I was given 3 heated blankets. Nurses said it happens to everyone.

What the hell kind of secret is that?

Didn't happen to me, but then I had c-sections. I want to know why no one ever told me that when my water broke it wasn't going to be a puddle like in the movies, but instead a long drawn out gushing that lasted several hours and occasionally had me peeing myself.

I wasn't cold after DS, but my blood pressure and body tempo both dropped after DD.
I don't remember her first 2 days because of it.

those heated blankets were amazing!

I think it's just one of those things no one tells you about being pregnant/in labor, like how it's normal to poop during labor
