We are building a new house. I took stock plans and modified them to my liking. Apparently, I'm not that great at visualizing how big footage actually is. The main floor framing is finished, and we walked around it. The living room and kitchen are separated by a big archway, and I am not happy with the size of the living room. It is much smaller than I thought, while the kitchen is ginormous. Ugh lol. I guess we will ake due as there isn't anything we can do about it now

It will probably fill bigger when it's done. It's hard to get a feel for the size of the rooms until the walls are actually up

I did. Our plans were dobe by an architect, and modified by them. The changes were my ideas, though. I just thought the living room would be bigger irl lol

Well a huge kitchen is great! I use mine when I entertain. I just spread the food out and everyone can get what they want without knocking themselves over each other!

I hope lol. The living room is vaulted...20 ft tall ceilings open to the upstairs, so maybe that will help open it up a little.
