What is the oldest used car you would buy?

I really like the Honda CRV. The one I really like is a 2004, I dont like how the newer ones look. . My car I'm wanting to trade in is a 2005. I also like the 2013 Kia Sorento.

So between an older Honda and new Kia, which would you pick?

I'm not sure the oldest but the most miles I'd buy is 40k, and even then it depends on the maker.

For a primary vehicle, no older than a 2008. For a secondary vehicle, as long as it runs and is in pretty decent shape than probably not older than a 1990.

For me it would depend more on the condition and miles than the model year.

I wouldn't buy either of those, it has to be a Toyota.

Honda. I have a 2000 Chrysler now, it was used when I got it. Best car I ever had was a 1992 Honda accord.

My husband is trying to convince me that we need either a new Highlander and or Camry.

I just got my Audi, he drives a custom '63 Chevy truck and we have a Ford Flex Titanium as our "family wagon".

My I ask why Toyota is your preference?

kias are really good cars, (we have a 2011 kia rio) and they are very affordable. hondas are ok. the newer ones are not as good as the older ones. between the two, I would get the Kia. unless it was a 90s model, I wouldn't touch a honda. they don't make them as good as they use to.

I have owned both a highlander and drive a Camry now they are awesome.

Toyota has good ratings other then those slip up a few years ago. They don't lose Bailey as other cars or trucks do. For example my df just traded in his 2003 Tacoma and got close to 10k for a 10 year old truck.

Toyota also last forever as long as you do routine maintained, my Camry has 178k miles on it but runs like it's brand new the truck had 160k and still was running strong.

Have you test drive a Toyota before? If not go take one out you will love it.
