Sleep number vs. Tempur-Pedic- Do you have one?

What do you have?

Are there any problems?

We might either buy a full size Tempur-Pedic which is the same size bed we have now for $700 obo.
Or we will go with the queen size Sleep Number that has 1 remote for $350.

Yes both mattresses are used but still have the plastic cover on them.

I wouldn't buy a new Sleep Number let alone a used one, electronics are unreliable and if you're buying used, I'm betting the service plan is long gone.

A friend of mine bought a Sleep Number when they first came out, and they had a great service plan, but the damn thing was always being fixed.  Biggest waste ever.

I love my sleep number but I would agree because when you buy a sleep number you have a 20 year warranty yet if you buy used you won't have that.
I haven't had any problems but I wouldn't want to take that chance.

You've had no problem at all with them? Pissedconsumer.com comes up on the first page of Google search. That worries me.

From what I've read doing research, Sleep Number is just a glorified air mattress and not worth the cost.

I've had both.

I will NEVER buy a Sleep Number again.  Ever.

I will never buy a regular mattress again.  Ever.

Tempur-pedic.  Period.
