Is this correct? this is for normal white rice

I'm pretty sure it's 1-to-1. One cup of water per one cup of rice.

Here's a tip. Skip the measuring throw rice in water like you do with pasta. When cooked drain. Super easy no measuring no nothing. Boil till done comes out perfect every time!

yes one cup of rice=2 cups of water. so if you have 3 cups of rice= 6 cups of water. always multiple by 2 in water to rice.

For 3 cups of rice, I would use 3 1/2 cups of water.

It's one cup of water to one cup of rice. I always add in like an extra half cup because I have a habit of forgetting about it lol.

No, 3 cups of rice would need 3 cups of water! :)

ETA: We don't use instant rice, but that is in a rice cooker.

 It's 6 cups of water for 3 cups of rice.  Read the directions on the rice package.
