Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

At what age did you stop watching your kids sleep?

Posted by   + Show Post

My youngest:

So watching babies sleep and snapping pics is normal. I still check up on my 7 year old when she sleeps because I'm a wuss like that. But it's weird to think of my mom watching me sleep as an adult and taking pictures(she doesn't, lol). How long did you watch your kids sleep or check up on them?

Oh, and feel free to post pics of your sleeping kids!

That is adorable!

Quoting fraujones:

Holy cuteness! Kitty looks like she's guarding.

I checked on them at night, but never watched them sleep. I finally quit checking on them when they were about 8 or so. The only picture I have of one of my kids sleeping is when one fell asleep with a cat.

She was. That was her boy. She groomed him constantly. Dh thought it was gross, but if you tried to stop her, she hissed at you.

You never stop. My dd is 9 & we share a room so it isn't hard to watch her sleep. I love taking pictures of her when she is sleeping. She always seem to have some stuffed animal on her head.

I'm be 40 in September and when I visit my parents, I sleep in the same room with my DD(4) b/c she doesn't like sleeping alone in a strange home. DH and the dogs have a room to themselves. I have "caught" my mom checking on us several different times. Whether she is checking on DD or me, she said she will never stop as long as one of her kids is under her roof.
