Personally I think it is fine....if it doesn't have to be bleached first.

It's just hair and I'm not really bothered by what one does with their child's hair.  Most of the time it does look cute though.

Cute mine are 10,7,6,4, and 2... it is semi permanent. They live it...if we are trash then so be it!

My DD is 10 and is currently rocking some pink lowlights.  They are semi-permanent but have never lasted more than a month.

i use purple spray on temp color on my 4 yo dd and she loves it lol. i dont think you should use permenant color though. Thats too tough on their young scalp i think.

Neutral? It doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't go out of my way to color my kid's hair either. My hair is naturally unconventional, and adults used to make nasty comments to my mom in front of me about it all the time. I guess for that I kinda feel like my kids should just enjoy their "normal" hair. lol
