I'm holding a baby in one arm, and a Petri dish with a zygote in the other hand.

I'm going to drop one. You choose.

If you really, truly believe that a zygote is the same as a baby then it would be impossible to choose.
You should have to flip a coin.
That's how impossible the decision would be.

Shot in the dark, you saved the baby.

Because you're aware there's a difference.

Now admit it.

ETA- for everyone trying to find loopholes and such, lets clarify. I'm holding YOUR child and YOUR zygote. If you don't choose then I drop them both into hydrofluoric acid and they're both done for. Forget your variables, it's a simple question. Does this clarify things any better? I just need an answer of which you would choose.

They're not the same to me, I'd drop the dish.

I always believe a child is different than a fetus or an embryo.

Obviously there's a difference.

I am antiabortion. But I would still save the baby. Just like I chose to take care of my living child and risk a miscarriage; rather than going on total bedrest at 18 weeks.

It's hypothetical. I'm going to drop one and you have to choose which.

It depends... which ones mine? That's the one I'd save. If they were both mine I'd save the breathing wiggling baby... why? Not because the embryo is any less. But because I am connected to the already born baby.
