I don't qualify for WIC either way. We wouldn't meet the financial standards.
I feel ending WIC would only raise up breastfeeding by a small percentage initially. Breastfeeding takes a lot of commitment. It isn't easy.
Over time, I think a bigger acceptance of breastfeeding would grow. Acceptance of it is really what it is going to take to make more women choose to do it.

No I didn't use WIC for any of my kids other than my 4th and only for 3mo's and coincidentally I only EBF'd the 4th.
I never did wic.. and I breastfed anways, lol. problem solved for me ;)
