If you are poor how do you get school supplies? I am not being a troll?, but I am curious.  I live in the 2ed poorest county and here the catholic church does a  school supply giveaway.

If you can't afford supplies contact churches and post on wish upon a hero.

The Salvation Army gives free supplies.  Also a few other lovely ladies gave ideas. One posted a blog that posts when staples has things on sale.

You don't. That's why teachers send out ridiculous school supply lists, to cover the students who bring nothing.

We don't have to do school supplies yet but when we do, I'm sure we'll get them from my husband's grandmother. She's a hoarder and the sales around back to school time mean she's going to buy lots and lots and lots of things.

School supplies are CHEAP. You know August is coming, so save aside $10 a month starting in like April. I don't get anyone who says they can't handle supplies.

They beg for handouts or expect other parents to provide for their children. I feel that all parents should be responsible for their own kids supplies. Save all year, something.
