Have you ever left your baby?

Wednesday my husband and I are leaving to go to the keys for 5 days. We are leaving our 2.5 yo with my mil. But I'm scared to death of leaving him because I don't know how he will handle his mommy and daddy raving for that long. I'm so worried. Have you eve left your young child like this?

Been there, done that. :) My now-5yo DD stayed with my mom for a week when she was 11 months old while DH and I went out-of-state for a funeral. There have been other times as well, but that is the first one that comes to mind.

When my son was about 18 months old he stayed with family while my husband and I took a 2 night trip for our anniversary.

I haven't, yet!  My son is 3 and I would feel the same way.  But, just know... your kiddo will be just fine.  He will miss you, but enjoy yourselves.  You both deserve it!  :)

Only once, last Friday. She had a blast, though it was with my aunt and little cousin. They're best friends, so she didn't miss us. It was also just an overnight stay.

My kids would beat me to the car when I said we were going to Grandpa's! Your ds will have 5 uninterupted days of love and spoiling. Have a great time, he will be fine!
