I thought I made a new friend but...

So I hit it off with a mom on my kid's sports team. Our kids started hanging out a bit then we did. Well she works ft and I'm a SAHM. Now she's started asking me to keep her kid a lot. He slept over this weekend so she could have some time alone with her SO. Now she asked me to keep him tomorrow and the next day cause their ac's broken and she doesn't want him sitting alone in the heat. Our kids are at an age that they don't need as much care or supervision, but having him here all the time is a bit much. Is she just using my friendship for her convenience?

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss her friendship this fast. Maybe she's truly in a jam and needs a hand

yes she is. Start charging her 15.00 an hour and see how fast she stops him from coming over, lol

It depends. Ask her to do something with you, if she refuses or backs out at the last second then she might be using you.
