Mow the damn lawn!

OK it is dh job to mow the lawn and he keeps saying he will and then not doing it or I'll do it later which never comes. Our yard is full of clover and bees and I don't want the kids to get stung.

I have to ask and beg all the time and it gets done about once every 2 weeks when it should be weekly. I would mow the lawn myself just to avoid the aggravation but I have RA and am not able. He also refuses to pay someone to do it because he's going to do it.

Does anyone else have this problem or have any ideas for how to resolve it?

If your kids are old enough, have them do it.

Pay someone to do it

I am so tempted. He keeps telling me not to though. I really wish I was able to do it myself it would be so much easier than to keep asking him over and over etc...

Hire a neighbor's kid, if yours aren't old enough. Then tell him you wouldn't have to, if he'd just do it.

I would. Nothing makes your house look worse than an unkept lawn.

I would just find a willing teen who would do it.

My dh is the same way. I also can't mow it. The last time I did I ended up in the er thanks to allergies and asthma. My brother used to do it for me, but he's getting ready to leave for college
