If your on public assistance ( food stamps, WIC, section 8) ect. Excluding those programs supported by self investment (such as ssi which in theory is ones own money) or those that require repayment (student loans etc), then you are being given money by the politicians that support and grow those programs in exchange for your support. You are being paid for your vote.
I get it, there are poeple who need help. there are people who cannot provide for themselves, like children and elderly. But if you live off of the people who actually pay taxes and contribute to society and not just when needed, then I question your right to vote.
Since receiving public assistance is like having your vote bought, and since buying votes is illegal, you should not be able to vote.
( added thought, you must stay PA free for 2 years before being able to qualify to vote)
Let me make it simple for the people who don't understand. If you get PA your vote is being bought by the govt. so you should not be qualified to vote because buying votes is illegal)
