I don't know anyone who hasn't. I wonder why its sooo common. I mean the body is designed for childbirth but I tore front to back.

Not me...but I had a c/s.
I don't think my mom did though.

I did not tear at all. My son was only 5lbs.

I had a small episiotomy with the first.  I had no tearing or episiotomy with the others.

With my first baby the doctor cut me. I ended up with 4stitches so it wasn't too bad. With my second I didn't tear and she was a bigger baby.

3 childbirths with midwives, never tore.
