S/O of boy's name spelled girly

Soooo, I have a friend told me she plans to name her baby boy Riley, which I think is a perfectly fine little boy name.  However, she plans to spell it "Rylee."  I think that looks girly as all hell.

Since I'm not a giant bitch, I'm not going to say anything to her.  But I just wondered what other moms thought of that spelling.

So what do you think?  Is "Rylee" a feminine spelling?

I prefer Riley for boy or girl so I'm neutral I guess.

I agree with you. I don't understand this urge to have a super common name with a super stupid spelling.
My sister suggested I spell Madelyn like Mattalynn or something like that. Oy.

Rylee does seem more feminine, yes.
