I(an atheist gentile) believe they should raise their kids as Jews.

Why Jewish?

If my understanding of Judaism is accurate, an observant Jew would not marry outside the faith. I know Christians at least are specifically instructed to marry only believers.

I guess because of all the forced conversions and murders in the past. There are not nearly as many Jews as there should be, sop I feel Jews should raise Jewish kids, add to the numbers.

I converted after I married my Jewish husband. We have raised our children Jewish since they were born. Christianity is a religion of false idols and is very wrong.

Probably true for Orthodox Jews. I don't know about Conservative Jews, but many Reform Jews marry outside their faith all the time. They may not be observant, but they're still Jews.

Oh ok. My dh and I each have one Jewish parent. He was raised predominantly Jewish and I was raised with a mixture, as my parents weren't terribly religious.

We use a mixture of beliefs from our upbringings in our home with our kids.

Jesus for one. He was a Jewish man who was trying to get people to following Judaism. He wasn't trying to convert them to Christianity.
