I was driving to pick my daughter up and bam! I hit a dog :( I couldn't stop fast enough. Poor thing died. I just keep going cause honestly I didn't know what to do. Well the next I go into the store and there a picture of the same dog I hit who went missing a few days before I killed it. Now I don't know what to ?! What am I suppouse to call them and be like hey just to let you know I killed you cute little dog :(( !!

I have no words, but you should at least contact the family so they don't go on searching

 If you don't want to say you killed it, you could say you saw a dog that looked like that in the road, and tell them where. Then they can go verify and have closure.

no, I mean you didn't stop to check on the animal or see if had tags to notify someone

that is unthinkable to me

They need to know.

We had a neighbor shoot our dog and never told us, even when we asked them. Come to find out, they shot him and then dropped him in the woods up the road. After I was done, the lady had a felony and couldn't legally carry firearms anymore.

It is harder not to know.

Never swerve or hit your breaks! Sounds mean but it's safe.
