Does it matter? Can you control it? No? Then let it go. Not worth your time.

I don't understand how they decide fs; but then again I haven't spent time worrying about it.. But why does it matter to you?

Well how many kids does she have? The base it off income to family member ratio. So even if she has extra money they don't really look at that from my understanding

I get 364 in fs, I make $1200 a month, and spend 1150 on non-flexible bills for a family of 4.

Also, how do you know how much she spends on bills?

While I would definitely not do something like that, I fail to see how it's any of your business (or anyone else's) how she spends her money.

I get that it's a piss off to see people taking handouts from the government when they don't need them (I don't like it either), but once that money has been paid into taxes, you no longer get a say. You voted in the government, you choose to live there and thus pay taxes there, so deal with it.

$1200 a month is diddly squat to live on... I would fucking cry if that is what I had to live on a month.

This. Our mortgage alone is 1600$.
Anyways here they don't care what your bills are. It's done by income and family members. That's it. She could be making 1200$ here and pay zero bills here and still qualify.
