That's right ladies...I'm a genius!

Well, almost...

My mom is cleaning out her attic, and she gave me a box of my old school stuff. In there were some results from an IQ test saying my IQ is 149. Which is, sadly, one point off from 'genius'. If only I had known this my whole life. Think of all the things I could have almost accomplished! Think of all the elite genius clubs I could have practically been a part of!

All of that potential, wasted. Oh well :)

BTW, in case anyone was unsure, I think this is meaningless, but very funny...

Hurrah! We should start a club. Like a sub-Mensa type thing.

I think the cutoff for Mensa is 148. I used to be a member in HS but I dropped it.

No way! Do you have to take a test? Cuz I would probably not do well.

What exactly do you do as a member of Mensa anyways? Just sit around and feel smart?

Some studies list genius level at 145. You clear the bar!  ;)

Well, those are definitely the studies I believe in. Purely for intellectual reasons, of course ;)

I don't know what other tests they accept, I took the test through them after a teacher told me to get tested (that sounds wrong) because I was a super smarty pants.

Membership is pretty pointless. The magazine wasn't bad and I got the kids magazine too but it wasn't worth the annual subscription. There were meet ups but nothing I could get to from my small town. Mostly it's just a vaguely interesting factoid about me. My IQ is in the 99.9999th percentile so I can say I'm one in a million, that's pretty cool.

That's how I feel too. I definitely don't feel like a genius...maybe if my parents had told me I could have developed a proper genius attitude, LOL
