Something Is Wrong with my Hands....

For the last couple of days my fingers have been feeling really funny whenever I try to do something. Cook dinner, fold laundry, open jars, etc.

Its almost like, during winter when you come in from outside and your hands are really really freezing and then your fingers start to thaw and they feel tingly and numb. I guess. It's hard to explain.

Has anyone else had this and know what it is?

Maybe carpal tunnel? That is how my husband described it. He had to have surgery last year.

I think you are right. I just went and looked it up and it sounds like it.

ARGH! Just another thing to add to my list of health issues. SOB!!

Yup when I had that happening to me and got it checked out it was carpal tunnel syndrome.  I had to have the surgery to correct it done on both wrists. Recovered quick and no issues. The surgeries were 12 years ago.

I have had it. Well I still have it in my left hand. It's carpal tunnel. I got surgery to correct it on my right hand and need to get surgery on my left hand but am waiting until the fall to do it.

At least the surgery has improved a lot in the last 10 years. I remember my grandmother not really being able to do much with her hands for a few weeks when she had surgery about 20 years ago. My husband just had minor restrictions for about a week (no heavy lifting or putting too much pressure or weight in his hands). It wasn't bad at all and he felt fine the next day.
