Im so tired. Sorry if i dont make a whole lot of sense.
My big sister J who just bought the acreage out by our place went into preterm labor last night.
She called at about 1am, and begged me to come, i honeatly did not think she was in labor but i pacled up baby preston and went and got her and off went for saskatoon.
At davidson she puked and we thought she pissed herself, turns out, it was probably her water breaking.
Soon after she was in severe pain and i turned the 4 ways on and pinned it, doing about 160km/hr.
When we got to stoon we pulled up at emerg, and i helped her get in a wheel chair and went to park the car.
By the time i got upstairs, she was on the bed freaking out screaming for drugs, she was 4-5cm.
About 4-5 min later she screamed he was coming, the nurses didnt believw her, no stirrups up or anything, and then out he came just like that.
He is really small and doesnt really even have fingernails. He cried only a little bit.
When she was trying to get the placenta out, a lot of large blood clots where coming out.
Finally, the placenta comes put. It was very small and even to me didnt look right. The head nurse called for a doc and they said her placenta looked diseased or infected.
But they said baby looked ok so far.
I dont kbow what to think im so worried about them! He was due aug 3rd.
She named him jackson dean.

Have any of you ever had an infected placenta? Was your baby ok?

I haven't had an infected placenta. I hope your sister reports those nurses (eta) for not listening to the mother that the baby was coming.
