Lyrics from the recently release song “Jodeci Freestyle” from hip hop artists Drake and J.Cole has many in the autism community up in arms.

These lyrics are offensive and perpetuate negative stereotypes. There are many inspiring individuals with autism and other disabilities who have achieved great success across a variety of artforms, including music. We encourage J. Cole to recognize their talent and learn from the positive example they have set for all of us.

the lyrics are from j.cole "I’m artistic, you n----s is autistic, retarded"
lil wayne was on it for talkin about some civil right activist dude & stomping on the flag & paula dean for being a racist...i bet we will never hear a word about this! my point is ..is that most people can not tell you one fact about autism and have never even heard of it..autsim and mental retardadtion are not the same thing.

Never heard of these 'artists'.

Free speech includes the freedom to be a douche.

I thought lil wayne was the one with the flag. Or maybe they both did it.

Don't know, don't care. There are things worth getting upset over in the world, and then there are people saying stupid things.

I think autism gets a ton-load of attention.

And lordy, the word 'retarded' has become almost as verboten as cunt.

I'm not offended. People have said much worse. I will still support J. Cole and Drake.
