I'm so itchy!

DD was complaining of being itchy. Her legs were bugging her so DH got some oatmeal bath stuff and some calomine lotion and sent her off to bed. I'm sitting on the couch reading and DH says "wth did you guys get into today?" and I'm staring blankly at him... he says I have apparently been scratching myself non-stop, but I didn't even notice because I was so absorbed in my book.

Of course, now I'm thinking about it and I am itchy. Ugh. No rashes, no redness, no bumps.... DD is school age, I'm in my 30s, we are both fully vaccinated... any idea why our arms and legs are so itchy?

We haven't been in the woods. Haven't been to the park in days. It just started this afternoon and we didn't play anywhere besides alone in our backyard today. No other kids, no pets...

Why are we itchy?!

Chiggers maybe. You'll start getting little red bumps if that's the culprit.

If it was an allergy to a pollen or something, wouldn't it have happened to at least me before? DH was thinking allergies, but I have never had an itchy allergy reaction. Hmmm.. Do allergies appear this late in life?

I will definately watch out for rashes.

Nope. Yes, they live in the grass. You don't know it until a few hours after they try to eat you alive, when the itching starts.

How do you get rid of them? Is it safe to go to bed or will my bed possibly get them? :( ugh!

Spray the entire yard- I suggest calling a pro and ask about asana (kid, pet, lawn, garden safe). Yes you can, they won't spread.
