why did you do it? How did it go? Would you do it again?

Thanks for all your input ladies! The reason I was asking is because I am 6 weeks pregnant and already worrying about who will watch our 2 year old when the time comes. However, After reading your stories and doing research, I don't think this will be the route I want to go. I would feel horrible if something bad happened. So, we might just have to bring LO with us! lol We shall see...

I did it because my daughter was growth restricted. It went horrible and unless it was medically necessary, I will never do it again. VBAC or C-Section are the only two routes I will go.

WIth my son I was severely depressed and in pain. He was 37.5 weeks and was 7lbs 8oz. With my daughter I had pelvic separation, my asthma was putting me in the hospital every other week and was just getting worse, and I was on bedrest. SO at 37.5 I had a meeting with my 3 docs and we decided it was best to go ahead and be induced. I actually wanted to try and make it to 40 weeks but she was just causing me too many problems.

I forgot to add, both of my deliveries went smoothly and yes I would do it again.

I was 2 weeks overdue, in excruciating pain, couldn't feel her moving anywhere near as much and just didn't want to be pregnant anymore. So the next morning I was induced, labored for 4 hours and pushed for 6 minutes and she was out. No drugs other than the pitocin. She was born healthy other than her cord wrapped around her neck once. She was 7 lbs 10 oz and and 21IN long. After birth though, I got immediately ill, and was bedriddden for a week.
