Samsung Galaxy S3 PROBLEMS..

I got a samsung galaxy3 a couple of months ago and all of a sudden i'm getting an error message saying "damaged SD" card..I called Sprint and they told me that even though I PAY THEM every month for insurance on the device, the SD card ISN'T covered because it comes "out" of the device, and isn't part of the device.

Anyway,

anyone ever have this problem before?!
