My 18 year old called me from jail. He lives about an hour away because that is where his school is. He was caught with alcohol and was arrested. He called and asked me to come bail him out and I told him no. It was always our rule that if you end up in jail we will not bail you out. None of my other 8 kids ever had an issue with it. I am not sure how long he will be in there, when his trial will be, or if he will get someone else to do it but I sure as hell wasnt going to.

Good for you.
Maybe then he'll learn a lesson.
I've never been in jail/prison but I know for a fact my parents wouldn't bail me out.

My parents always told met that they weren't going to bail me out. It was pretty easy to not go to jail. Lol.. I agree with you..

 I wouldn't do it either...

That right there shows he is not responsible and he needs to get that way... sitting in there might help him change his ways.
