Are you guys this completely oblivious to the fact that racism against black people is in the legal system?

Wake up.

Don't be this rude and thoughtless about an actual problem.

In the past few years I've seen video of police murdering a handcuffed black man right in front of everyone on the subway, and get away with it...Black men get three times the prison sentences that a white man would get for the same crime...Black women getting 20 years for what a white woman would get counseling for, and so many cases of legitimate racial profiling and false accusations they can't be counted...

No one is saying there aren't black people out there committing crimes, but it's vapid and naive to not even believe that the problem of racism in the legal system exists.

P.S. - The same problem exists for Hispanics.

It's easy to throw numbers around and claim "facts". Do you have actual unbiased sources to back up everything you're saying?

Sure, racism goes both ways.

However the zimmerman trial had nothing to do with race.

Well I live in Houston, and I disagree with you especially about hispanics . Maybe where you live but I don't see that at all here.

If you really want to be depressed, look at race statistics for people executed.  Blacks are overrepresented at least 100%.  Women almost never get put to death.  It's ridiculously low, like 13 since 1974 or something like that.

What is an unbiased source to you when looking for information on court cases?

I can get the incarceration numbers across the country divided by race that shows the lean, I can get the court transcripts from the specific court cases where justice was grossly underserved, I can get the video of police shooting an unarmed, handcuffed man laying on his stomach...

Of course they're ignorant to it and want to remain ignorant to it.
