Mother's intuition**update! Herpes?

I just sent my youngest DD (4 months) to the clinic with my husband, I'm at home with our toddler.
Two days ago we noticed a red mark (looked just like a chapped lip) above her lip and said let's keep an eye on it. This morning I noticed some yellow-ish blisters in the corner of her mouth. Nothing on the inside that I can see. She's drinking and peeing fine.
She has been very very sleepy today, all she has done is sleep which is very unusual for her...

So apparently it's herpes simplex, doc have her some ointment and said that she'll be okay since she's 4 months old...he said she's so sleepy because she's just sleeping it off.
** oh, and for the bitches out there, we don't live in US, health is 100% covered plus my husband's work gives us 100% coverage.

Well apparently it's not worth reading unless it's about you know who.

Never happened to me, but I'd take her to the doctor just to be sure, especially with the blisters.  Hope she's ok!!

Sounds like impetigo. My daughter had it last year it's not a big deal. I think we got an antibiotic cream for it.

Hand foot mouth disease has been making the rounds in babyland here in NC... maybe that's it?

That was my first thought. Neither my husband or I have them.

Well I am sure the doctor will give an answer to your dh about what it could be.
