Why would anyone want to be a single sahm? I am married and a sahm and i can't wait until dh gets home to have someone to talk to. Being single you wouldn't even have that; i would go crazy.

I don't understand how it's even possible....
(Of course with the exception of women who are independently wealthy)

I don't know but i read on here that a lot of single moms are. Pa, child support, alimony, etc..

DH's ex calls her self a SAHM. She lives off welfare and child support.
