Is it your need to feel like a victim?

My cousin and my best friend was raped. It gave me courage to come clean about my brother raping me. I was glad someone understood what I was going through. I didn't feel so alone. But then I found out that she doesn't believe me. She knows what my brother is like. I don't understand. Was it her need to be the only victim that I took attention away. I thought that you would understand. I feel more alone then ever

Maybe she's still dealing with her rape issues. I'm sorry.

I guess so. Thanks. It just doesn't make it hurt any less you know?

I totally agree. Have you tried asking her why she doesn't believe you?

Nope. She didn't even tell me directly. She just didn't offer any support, didn't want to talk to me at all and then told everyone else in the world.
